The All-Star was given an indefinite suspension by the Memphis Grizzlies after he waved a gun in an Instagram Live post over the weekend. On Monday morning’s episode, Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, his co-host on Undisputed, discussed the incident.
Later that day, Boosie posted on Twitter, “STOP @RealSkipBayless,” and added, “Don’t build the narrative that he’s a real gang member SMH HE NOT NO CRIP!! HE A PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER who made a mistake.” Despite the fact that Morant will miss at least two games, he has since apologized for the live stream, which took place shortly after The Washington Post reported on numerous other violent incidents involving Morant.
